Calling all DF95 skippers. Bayview Yacht Club is holding a FUN DF95 race at the club on Saturday May 31 during the Helly Hansen Sailing World big boat regatta. All 95 skippers are invited to come race and join in on the regatta festivities. Food and drink available for purchase. Music in evening. The 95 race start time is somewhat flexible to wait for the return of the big boats. A skippers meeting is targeted for 5PM.

The attached NOR contains further information and a link to the registration site. Follow the link. At the HHSW site, click on register for the event. Fill out the required info. Select the DF95 fleet. There is a nominal $5 entry fee. If you have an extra boat, bring it to get others the experience of model yacht racing.

Hope to see a good mix of model sailors and big boat sailors.

Come down to Bayview Yacht Club on Saturday May 31 for a fun DF95 race around 5 or 6pm (exact time TBD) and take part in all the activities and excitement of the Helly Hansen Sailing World regatta. There will be food, drinks, music, and some DF95 racing in Connor Creek after the big boats get in off the water.

Notice of Race and registration links will be posted when available. If you have an extra boat to loan, bring it. Between DMYC members and local big boat racers we will have some fun model racing and a fun evening of partying.

The Detroit Model Yacht Club is hosting the 2025 Run
What-cha-Brung regatta and classic boat show on
Sunday, June 8th at Lake St. Clair Metro Park. This
will be a fun event for people of all ages. The event
is open to all classes and sizes of model sailing
yachts.
Anyone with a model sailing yacht, even the older
classics, is welcome to participate. Guests
attending the event will have opportunities to try their
hand at sailing a model yacht.
