The Detroit Model Yacht Club is hosting the 2025 Run
What-cha-Brung regatta and classic boat show on
Sunday, June 8th at Lake St. Clair Metro Park. This
will be a fun event for people of all ages. The event
is open to all classes and sizes of model sailing
yachts.
Anyone with a model sailing yacht, even the older
classics, is welcome to participate. Guests
attending the event will have opportunities to try their
hand at sailing a model yacht.

DMYC was formed in 1979 and is a Member of the AMYA. Racing is held at Delia Park in Sterling Heights Monday through Thursday depending on class. The season is May through September. There are over 30 Sanctioned classes of boats in the AMYA.
